At this boutique/gallery, cartoony prints from beloved D.C. artist Dave Peterson line the walls, the Crayola-hued jersey dresses and military-inspired coats hail from eco-friendly lines, and owner Sarah Watkins hosts regular fundraisers for local nonprofits.

Woman Around Town

“Artfully displayed racks of clothing were arranged throughout, and I found myself having a hard time staying focused on what was before me because I kept wanting to move onto the next rack. Featuring eco-friendly, recycled, and vegan lines (many of which are local), at Caramel you can find a great party dress or a chic work outfit which will transition from season to season seamlessly. With several locally made men’s lines, there will be no need to cajole your boyfriend or husband into shopping with you because he’s bound to find something for himself.”
